A Smackdown Champ

Cullen Piper, a Butte wrestler with Anaconda roots, holds up his winning bracket and medal from the Smelter City Smackdown wrestling tournament on Sunday, March 1 at the Memorial Gym. Piper, grandson of Ray Piper and Shauna Bennett and great-grandson of Harry and Margie Piper and Ray and Karen Bennett of Anaconda, took home first place for the Mine Yard Dogs Wrestling Club in the 8A 50B division, doing so with three pins at the tourney.
