Roxie Kay Boschee Whaley
On June 16, 2024, Roxie Kay Boschee Whaley, born on October 22, 1945, in Miles City, Montana, passed peacefully at Edgewood Memory Care after a struggle with dementia.
She was born to John and Anna Boschee in Miles City and was the second of three children with brothers, Gene, and Gary. She had one daughter, Kimberly. She married Bob Whaley and made their home in Alaska, Oregon, and Idaho. In 1989, Bob and Roxie divorced, and she returned to Montana and to Missoula to be close to family.
Roxie lived a full life in Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana and called Missoula her home. She graduated from Anaconda High School in 1963. She retired from the Community Hospital of Missoula Food Service. She loved to cook, can, read books, cheer on the Montana Grizzly Football Team, bowl and was on a local bowling team for years with her sister-in-law, Sandy. She enjoyed traveling to Idaho to see friends, traveling with her brother Gary and his wife, and was always available for a barbeque with family.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Rob) McFadden on McCall Idaho, granddaughter, Andrea McFadden of Boise, Idaho, and grandson, Shane (Alisha) McFadden of Emmett, Idaho, with four great grandchildren, Macyn and Carson and Floyd and Franklin. She is survived by her brothers, Gene Boschee of Missoula, and Gary (Peggy) Boschee, of Fort Myers, Florida. She is also survived by her friend, Kifflin Bauer, of Missoula and her nieces and nephews including Ray (Mae); Katherine; Monique (Floyd); Kyle (Megan); Shawn; and Tina and many great nieces and nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna (Brustad) and father, John Boschee; and her sister-in-law, Sandy Boschee along with other family members.
